A warm welcome to our apartment in Davos. You are vacationing where we also love to spend our leisure time with our family: in our home away from home! We have put a lot of energy, passion, and work into the renovation, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Below, we have gathered some important information for you. If something is missing or if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

You do not need to print this document. It is available in electronic form on the tablet in Davos.
WASTE
General Household Waste
In Davos, household waste must be disposed of in fee-based waste bags. You can find these blue bags directly above the waste bin in the kitchen. In front of the garage entrance, you will find a container where the waste bags can be disposed of.
Green Waste
Unfortunately, there is no green waste collection in Davos. Please dispose of organic waste in the blue waste bag. On the balcony, you will find another waste bin in which you can dispose of organic waste. Please fill the contents of this waste bin into the blue fee-based waste bag at the end of your stay.
Glass
A glass collection point is located at the upper main entrance near Coop.
PET, Batteries, Cans
You can dispose of these items at Coop and Aldi.
Paper and Cardboard
In the ski room1 on floor -1, you can deposit paper and cardboard (please bundle).
PHARMACY / DRUGSTORE
You will find a drugstore in the Rätia Center, directly above Coop. On the other side of the street from the Rätia Center, you will find the pharmacy.
BATHROOM
Shower Gel, Shampoo, Hairdryer
Shower gel and shampoo are available, as well as a hairdryer.
Towels and Washcloths
A set is available for each person.
Ventilation
Please open the door after showering and let the ventilation run so that the moisture can escape.
MOUNTAIN RAILWAYS
This is how you can reach the mountain railways best without a car:
Jakobshorn: On foot, about 5 minutes
Parsenn: By bus from the Tanzbühl or Davos Platz train station

BED LINEN
The apartment is fully equipped with bed linen and pillows.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM, or earlier by prior arrangement.
CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Apartment handover and key return are done after consultation with us.
DAMAGES
It can happen that something breaks. Please inform us so that we can replace the item as quickly as possible. Any damage that goes beyond normal wear and tear is chargeable and will be invoiced.
SHOPPING
The nearest shopping options (Aldi, Coop, and Migros) are just a few minutes' walk from the apartment (see the location map). Coop is also open on Sundays during the main season. The Heis bakery on the Promenade is open every day, in the mornings on weekends.
DINING TABLE
You can extend the dining table on both sides. The necessary parts can be found in the bench behind it.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER
You will find a fire extinguisher next to the entrance door to the left of the shoe cabinet.
GUEST CARD
You will receive the guest card for your stay by email before your arrival. You can activate the guest card in the Davos App. All information about it will be sent to you by email. You can find the benefits of the guest card here.
CARETAKER
If there is a problem with the heating, water, etc., the caretaker Felix Egli is responsible. His phone number: 078 874 45 20
INTERNET
The internet password for the network davosbissig is jakobshorn. The modem in the lower right cabinet near the TV is battery-operated and should always be plugged in. If the internet goes out, please check if the modem is plugged in and turned on.
MAP
You can find a map of the area here.
KITCHEN
Work Surface
Do not place hot items (p ans, trays, etc.) on the white work surface in the kitchen. Damage to the work surface will be charged.
Oven
An instruction manual for the oven can be found in the drawer below it. To open the door, you need to lift the child lock located above the handle on the right side. The oven clock lights up at night. If you like, you can cover it with the insulating tape (stuck above the clock).
Exhaust Hood
The exhaust hood is loud but efficient. Please always use it when cooking.
Dishwasher
The dishwasher door opens automatically after the set time has elapsed. We usually use the short program 3, if heavily soiled dishes are pre-rinsed. Please do not put pans and pots in the dishwasher.
Induction Stove
The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop.
Coffee Machine
A Nespresso machine is available for you. We provide a few capsules. The relatively small machine needs to be emptied after about 2 - 3 coffees.
Food Items
Sugar, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar are available in the kitchen for you.
Sodastream
With the Sodastream, you can make your own mineral water. If the CO2 bottle is empty, you can find a spare bottle in the lower left kitchen drawer.
Utensils
The kitchen is fully equipped with pans, pots, and all kitchen utensils including washing cloths and dish towels.
LIGHT
The ceiling light in the bedroom can be controlled via 3 push buttons. One button is located at the door, and the other two are on the inside of the bed frame at the head. A short click turns the light on or off, a double click dims it.
MUSIC
You can control the music with the tablet. Go to the Sonos app and search by artist, title, radio station, or playlists. The music plays on the speaker right below the TV. To select the small speaker in the bedroom, follow these steps: open the YT Music app on the tablet. Select the desired music. Click on the streaming icon at the top right. Under "Stream to," select "Bedroom speaker."
NIGHTTIME QUIET HOURS
The house is very sound-sensitive. We ask you to refrain from playing loud music, watching TV, or being loud between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
NON-SMOKING APARTMENT
The apartment is a strict non-smoking area, this also applies to the balcony.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Davos Platz train station is a 4-minute walk from the house. The nearest bus stop is called Tanzbühl and takes you either towards Glaris or Parsenn. Use of buses and trains in the region is free with the Guest Card. Information about the Guest Card.

Parties are not allowed in our apartment.
CLEANING
Final cleaning
Please leave the apartment broom clean.
Cleaning supplies, cloths, dish rags
You will also find them in the right cabinet in the bedroom.
Vacuum cleaner
A handheld vacuum cleaner is located in the right cabinet in the bedroom.
SKI ROOM
On floors -1 and -2 you will find a ski room each. Please deposit sleds, bobs, bicycles, skis, snowboards, etc. there. In the ski room on floor -1, you can deposit your ski boots. There is also a ski boot dryer.
SKI, HIKING, AND BIKE SHOES
Entering the apartment with ski, hiking, and bike shoes is not allowed. You can deposit the shoes in ski room 1 or ski room 2.
TAKE-AWAY + DELIVERY
Order early enough. If there are too many orders and restaurants are overloaded, no new orders will be accepted.

TV
Netflix, Youtube Premium, Youtube Kids, and Zattoo (Live-TV with replay function) are installed on the Samsung Smart TV. The TV manual can be found here. To completely turn off the TV at night, hold the power button on the top left of the remote for 5 seconds. With the same button, you switch to the TV's art mode, meaning a picture is displayed. If a black screen with an error message appears when turning on the TV, press the "Rakuten TV" button on the bottom right of the remote, then the problem should be resolved.
TABLET
All TV apps are also installed on the Samsung tablet, along with other useful apps and information. The music can be controlled via the Sonos app on the tablet. The charging cable is located in the bench right below the TV.
LAUNDRY
On the 1st floor, there are two laundry rooms, each with a washing machine and dryer. They are coin-operated, and no change is given. Please sign up on the laundry list on the door. Instructions for using the washing machine can be found in the laundry room.
