It has been a childhood dream of my friend Gerhard Czerner to bike to the K2 base camp and see the second highest mountain from as close as possible. Nothing did we know that this expedition was going to be one of the hardest for everyone involved. Endless hours hiking with the bikes on our shoulders. Climbing steep glacier walls up to 5700m. At the end we got rewarded with an experience, we will never forget and with new friends, we never expected to make.
